How my journey began…

My yoga journey began over two decades ago. Always a fitness enthusiast, I decided to pop into a yoga class at my local gym. Immediately I noticed there was something different about yoga. I left feeling like I had just gotten a massage; it gave my physical body something that other classes didn’t give me.

What I didn’t know at the time was that the asana practice is simply the entry point, the tip of the iceberg, to this profound, beautiful, and transformative practice. Yoga starts with the physical external body, but with a dedicated practice, quickly leads inward to a deep mental and spiritual awakening.

Yoga peels back the layers to bring you closer to your truth, while at the same time building courage to allow you to follow your truth. After practicing daily for eight years, I enrolled in my first teacher training. I have subsequently done several trainings accruing more than 700+ hours.

My passion is taking the ancient wisdom of yoga and applying it to our modern everyday lives. The wisdom of yoga is timeless and a time-tested path to a life filled with love, peace, joy, high morals, ethics and equanimity. These virtues are available to everyone, and yoga is a proven method to help attain these virtues and create the life you were meant to live. Slowly but surely, yoga transforms us to the highest versions of ourselves.

All of my offerings, whether in classes, trainings, workshops or retreats include dharmas woven into class. My goal is to remind each individual of the truth already within them, allowing them to awaken to their fullest potential. Peace, love and joy should not be elusive qualities. My goal is teach the skills that allow us to live our birthrights of peace, love and joy.
